"We wanted to do something special for our wedding day, so we decided to take dance lessons and prepare a nice first dance that we would remember forever. We needed help though, as neither of us had any experience dancing. We booked our first lessons through a nationally known franchise studio, but we were quickly turned off by their politics and pricing practices. We felt they were more interested in signing us to another lesson rather than getting us through the ones we already paid for. We came across Olivia's website and were immediately impressed with her qualifications and dance history. We called her to inquire about lessons and from minute one, we could tell we had found our teacher. She was immediately focused on what we wanted to accomplish and how she could help get us there. Our first impression was great, but it didn't stop there. Her teaching techniques and vast knowledge of dance made us feel comfortable from lesson one. After two lessons, we had learned more than we did in 5 lessons at the other studio and were doing moves neither of us ever imagined doing. Olivia brings a unique combination of talents to her creative process. She has a BA from Florida State University where she majored in both Theater and Dance. As a teacher, her students range in age from three to adult, with dance experience from beginner through professional. She has choreographed and performed professionally in musical theater, theater, television, and video, as well as for convention shows and events. Her dance experience runs the gamut from ballet, tap and jazz, to ballroom, Latin, swing and more. So as you can see, whatever your needs, Olivia is well equipped to take you successfully and creatively on the journey to reaching your goals.

Jennifer found Olivia after being turned down over and over, trying to find someone to work with her and her fiancé Chris. Chris had some special challenges, but in reality he is the kind of person who never let his challenges get in his way and what's more he is a true inspiration to us all. Hi energy and positive spirit was amazing. When told what an inspiration he was, he humbly replied, "I don't see that, the real inspiration is Jennifer, she's been at my side through it all, she's the one who's the inspiration"
"Olivia is wonderful!!! My future husband is seriously ill. He also has (1) prosthetic leg and the other is in a cast. She is incredibly patient and encouraging with us both. We have enjoyed the class so much that we have decided to continue with private lessons after the wedding. We learned of Olivia only after calling numerous dance instructors who were not up to the challenge. Olivia not only accepted us as clients but has been flexible with scheduling around his many doctors appointments. We practice / study with Olivia 1-2 times per week, and would not miss it for the world!!! Word of advice to those looking to learn: Go. Enjoy. Heidi and Tommy Weclew came to Olivia Gale with a song and a concept that fit their personalities to a "T". Their first dance combined theater, comedy and ballroom dance to the delight of family and friends. With smoke wafting over the dance floor, the couple entered to the flash of lighting and the sound of thunder as The Dan Band's version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" filled the air. Their first dance got the attention of the media and Ms. Gale was interviewed about her choreography and the new trend toward first dances that didn’t quite fit the traditional mold. There has been an amazing increase in the frequency of requests for first wedding dances that step outside of the box, so to speak. Shows like “Dancing with the Stars” have shown men they can have fun dancing too, and opened their eyes to the possibilities. It has been Olivia's pleasure to work with couples who have requested something different, when it comes to taking the floor for the first time as husband and wife. It becomes a wonderful expression of who the couple is and their relationship with each other. It is a very special way of sharing it all with friends and family.

Mandy and Zeus Salgueiro showed off their fabulous "Dancing with the Stars" choreography, a Cha Cha to Michael Buble's "Sway" created just for them for their special day at Ponte Vedra Lodge & Inn in Jacksonville. There's nothing like the romance of moonlight on the beach.

"Fernando and I decided we wanted to impress our guest with a sexy tango. The tango is not easy to learn, but Olivia was very willing to work with us. Olivia was patient and kind. We always had so much fun at our lessons. Sometimes I'd go to the lessons stressed out from work and the lessons actually helped me to de-stress. Olivia was not only an great instructor, but also a wonderful person. I definitely recommend dance lessons to all couples, if time and budget permits. It was fun to learn something new together. When I met Sallie Anne and "Binky", I knew that they were a couple with a great sense of humor and wanted their first dance to express that humor and how they play off each other. When we began working on "By the Sea" I visualized combining several dance styles in one, along with a little soft shoe to add a little "Zing". They were game to try everything and their comedic timing was perfect!
